XII ― Eleven months later

Diamond firebox was nice, but I have bulky little bags o'trash to incinerate. I apparently expanded the chimney a bit also. (I suspect there are a few work sessions not documented here...)

After a trash session, those pesky aluminum-ish lids from the coffee creamer ― those need to be filtered out of the to-be-recycled ashes, along with stray aluminum cans, roofing nails and other un-burned detritus.

They call it "rubber cement" and I intend to paint the wheel & tubeless tire with it next time I struggle to set the bead on this tiny, squirmy tire. In the meanwhile barrow is a stationary mixing tub for Mudfire mortar: clay, sand, ash from Mudfire and a little organic fiber.

Rejected ash clumps go in the steel bowl. Those Mini-Moo tops will blow all over the place so let's be covering them up... this bucket lid will do.

Hmm. Neighbors must be burning plastic, 'cause I get a wee whiff now and then.

Oh looky; bucket lid now has several new holes!

Guess those ashes from day-before-yesterday still held some heat.
