This was not a first idea for bringing the diameter of the bell closer to afterburner size. Constraints include: dwindling supply of brick; non-concentric afterburner + bell; ever-shrinking net volume between bell and afterburner; fingers refuse to remain muddy continuously, forcing use of tools.

Maybe on an upper course. Bell is still too short for afterburner which itself is too short according to traditional measurements.
