A New Beginning

After the disappointment of Mudfire ][ led to the purchase of The Book, Mudfire /// is already far ahead of its immediate predecessor: it can be lit with a single match.  Yet despite a long look at ratios and other helpful numbers, Mudfire /// is still a deformed, dirty mutant.

But it burns. Yay!

Yes, a closer look at the first photo shows the inner structure of the heater - the part that should reach hundreds of degrees - is held together with baling twine. Srsly.

It wouldn't deserve a Mudfire model name were it not for these inner contradictions. Inside the hollow cores of the upright silo tiles is mud. On the outside is a thinnish layer of mud, enough to hide the twine for a while.
Thus the inner chimney is now "plastered" and ready for its outer bell. Gonna need more bricks....
