I've lost track of time and mudfires so this is known as Ten.

There have been other mudfires since previous entries herein, but those are un-documented and mostly forgotten now. This is my first stab at making and using aircrete. So far, so good. The mix contains perlite, sand and Portland; a dab of lime plus the requisite foam, made with Suave™ shampoo and a re-purposed hand soap pump dispenser.

  1. This was a disaster. It fell apart before the first firing. Fortunately I had a bricks-on-dirt "patio" space that needed grout so that's where the carcass went.

Later, much later, said "patio" becomes a foundation for Boxfire XI and XII.
